STEREO-A will be passing through the Sun-Earth line in August. We have scheduled a high telemetry campaign from July 3-Aug 2, 2023 to take advantage of the small longitudinal separation between STEREO-A and observatories at Earth and L1.
Date (2023) | Science Target | Other | SECCHI Program |
---|---|---|---|
July 3-16 | EUV Stereoscopy Active AR tracking |
AIA, SUVI, SWAP, Hinode, IRIS |
EUVI (171/195 @ 2.5-min; 284 @ 5-min; 304 @ 10-min full disk) COR1/2, HI1/2 (synoptic) |
July 17- Aug 2 | Coronal outflows AR at/close to limb |
LASCO, Hinode, IRIS | EUVI (195 @ 2.5-min; 304 @ 10-min; 171/284 @ 2-hr full disk) COR2 (tB @ 2.5-min w/ 18-sec exp) HI1 @ 20-min, HI2 @ 2-hr |
We are very happy to welcome co-observations with observatories in addition to those listed.
We will suggest targets for co-observations. If you are interested in getting emails about targets please send an email to gsfc-stereo@mail.nasa.gov
However, because STEREO-A data will be full disk, it will be available, as always, to combine with any data taken during the campaign.
